Brighid's House O' Masks

I have been an artist from an early age, but never really found my niche until late 2006. I created my first mask, The Dragon, as a Halloween costume piece and discovered that I really found a strong passion in its creation. I enjoy creating masks, especially when something I scratched out on paper actually turns out the way I want it! Mask-making is my passion, and I'm happy when I'm sculpting something. I try to search out the bizarre and unique aspects of my creativity, put them to paper and sculpt them in mask form. I find it really interesting how greatly a person can change just by putting on a mask. And no matter what the piece is, it always brings a smile to the wearer, which makes me happy. I like that, no matter old we get, we still like to play dress-up.
