My name is Brighid Ross and I am a mask-maker. I make masks from plastic bases, soft clay, hard clay and plaster. My plastic and soft clay masks can be for wearing and/or display. I am always willing to create commission pieces, but be sure to look over what I have for sale first. All of my masks are one-of-a-kind pieces of artwork as I do not use molds. As such, some pieces will have flaws. This, however, shows how unique they truly are. My plastic masks are tied with elastic and the clay pieces are tied with ribbon. Display pieces may come with or without ties, and these will be anything from wire to string to ribbon. I encourage my customers to be creative with their commissions!
As you browse through my site, be sure to not only check out what is for sale, but what I have done in the past. My customers use my examples for their commissions. Also, make sure to read over my blog for any announcements of up-coming shows and new pieces. I also have a gallery page for my pictures from art shows.

Commissions
I require a minimum 50% down on any commission piece. I will need color requests, specific aversions to any items I may use (such as horse hair), the base type and the design basics. Hand-created masks, such as clay, start out at $85.00 to $200.00. Plastic masks start at $35.00. Please go to my Commission Form and indicate your mask style. And, if you are interested in ordering a set of hand-made, custom horns, select the Horns Only Commission form.
Previously Made Items
Any masks currently for sale come as-is and will start at $85.00 for hand-made and $35.00 for plastic. Plaster-of-Paris masks are commission-only and may take up to one full month to create. Such masks start out at a minimum of $300.00 and are not meant for wearing.
